Maya Ramesh is a senior associate in the team, handling diverse commercial matters across various judicial forums including the Supreme Court, High Courts, Tribunals, and in arbitrations. She specialises in insurance claims and disputes, advising and representing leading insurance companies in India.

Maya also brings an experience in environmental litigation, on a wide range of issues of environmental protection, wildlife conversation, mining, across the Supreme Court, National Green Tribunal and its zonal benches.

Maya is also an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer, with over 20 years of training and has performed at numerous marquee cultural events across India.

• Representing a leading general insurance company in a first-of-its-kind arbitration dispute pertaining to Directors and Officers Liability Insurance policy in India

• Representing a leading general insurance company in India in an arbitration dealing with a Professional Indemnity policy

• Representing the Federation of Indian Pilots before the Delhi High Court in a matter contesting the validity of a CAR issued by the Directorate of Civil Aviation

• Advised and assisted numerous insurance companies on matters and claims pertaining to diverse insurance aspects
